WI Orchestra is a full orchestral library and composition tool for iPhone and iPad. With this app, you can create and record your own orchestral music, layer by layer, using a wide range of instruments and built-in recording features.
The app offers a variety of orchestral strings, brasswinds, woodwinds, saxophones, and percussion instruments to choose from. You can easily play different dynamics by touching the velocity-sensitive keyboard. WI Orchestra also provides dynamics presets for easy usage.
You can work on multiple projects simultaneously, and export your songs to your computer as WAV files. The app supports CoreMIDI for input via external MIDI devices. WI Orchestra is a universal iOS app with a native full-screen iPad version and high-resolution graphics on iPhone 4 retina displays.
Five instruments, including Violins, Trumpet, Flute, Tenor Saxophone, and Timpani, are included for free. For those unfamiliar with orchestral music, each instrument comes with a picture and description.
